Backyard today heard a Pileated woodpecker, saw a Northern flicker, Hairy and a Red-headed woodpecker. DHS community garden sported two flycatchers (couldn't distinguish), bluebird, red-tailed Hawk, Barn swallows and Chimney swifts - seems like summer already

N. Georgia Report
During a canoe trip on the upper Toccoa River this weekend, we were lucky to scare up a Bald Eagle, that flew about 20 feet over our heads. We were about a quarter mile downstream from the Benton MacKaye trail Bridge.
I didn't believe a local outfitter that told me about seeing a Bald Eagle in this area two years ago, but now I'm a believer. It was unmistakable.
Then, when I got back to my car, I saw an Indigo Bunting land on the street, eat a bug then fly off into the bushes.
